Well technically you’re right since Mike Sapone produced half of the album and Marc Hudson did the other half haha but I think Flicker Fade fits in perfectly amongst songs like All The Way, It Takes More, Better Homes and Nothing at All
Yeah idk, Flicker Fade feels like an unsuccessful attempt to recapture their old sound while the rest of the album is more of a progression over their old sound if that makes sense. Idk, hard to explain, but I've just never liked it
I weirdly noticed a while ago they have an obsession with the word "all". Haha. Happiness Is has "All the Way" and "Nothing at All." The chorus of Better Homes... is "All for nothing, all a waste" etc. They Don't Have Any Friends has "anything at all" a couple of times. Best Places has "said it all saying nothing at all" and you've already mentioned other song titles with it haha.
Flicker Fade is one of my favorite post reunion songs Happiness grew on me, but I still can’t stand Tidal Wave
You Know How I Do 180 Spin Swing Call Me In The Morning It Takes More (this was a real tough one to choose. This song has just stuck with me recently. We Were Younger Then is a close 2nd) Holy Water

If we are still rolling with favorites from each album, Great Romances Little Devotional My Blue Heaven Swing Call Me In the Morning Better Homes Holy Water
Agreed on all fronts, although i will say that saying New Again is better than Louder Now is a pretty hot take and I back it 100%

Ghost man on Third One Eighty by Summer My Blue Heaven Everything Must Go Sad Savior Beat Up Car Holy Water
It is so good and one of the best of that album. It's also the album with Better Homes, Flicker and Beat Up Car so it's already a stacked album.

Happiness Is def gets my vote for best post-reunion album. There are still things about it that bug me, mostly really small details/nitpick-y things, but overall it’s a very strong release.
