Bullet with butterfly wings is a great cover.

Honestly, I think both the songs are great. They're closer to Happiness Is than Tidal Wave. Tidal Wave had a classic kinda Tom Petty vibe, which I loved, and I don't think that appears here.

 

I was really hoping for more Tidal Wave is the thing :D it's by far my favourite TDS. but these songs make me very hopeful

 

I'm happy for more TBS goodness from either of the two albums. Happiness Is came out in my final year of having a big party house in college and there's some damn good nights attached to it. Tidal Wave was entering the job market and cutting back on the partying, but there's some equally great shit attached to it.

If we even get another jam as good as You Can't Look Back, I will be completely satisfied. That song is amazing and if emo/punk/alternative wasn't such a niche these days, it would have been another MakeDamnSure, imo.

 

I really do You Can't Look Back is one of the best songs the band has ever written.

Yup! That fucking ending with how the music gradually builds up as Adam sings then suddenly cuts out so it’s just him and the guitar is perfect

Just bought New Again on vinyl for $14 at my local record store

 

What a steal. I love that album art. I'm not a fan of most of their covers.

 

I roll my eyes hard every time an album cover/music video/etc features a dusty road and/or old car but I do like that one. I generally do like their covers but HI and TW are far and away my favorites.

 

I try not to put too much stock in album cover art but the S/T album art is by far their worst

 

I bought a special edition version of Happiness Is that came with a poster of the cover and framed it. It's not my favourite album or anything but that panther looks cool!

 

I think it's the best

 

I would put their album art as -

Good: New Again, Happiness Is, Tidal Wave, Twenty
Bad: TAYF, Where You Want to Be, Louder Now, S/T

 

S/T is the only album cover I dislike

 

Happiness Is and New Again are tied for my favorite album art.

 

s/t art is like down there with Iron Maiden Dance of Death art imo
