shows at 8, assuming no openers. idc about TAYF so i might show a lil late to avoid a line, but i am so psyched for WYWTB and LN. the songs from WYWTB i never thought i'd hear live. ugh. yes.
I ended up getting two tickets haha. I have plans Monday night but I figured if I can't figure out a way to get out of them I'll have no trouble finding someone to buy them back from me.
went to the show last night. I've seen this band almost 20 times at this point, and last night was the best show I've ever seen them put on. Where you want to be in its entirety was beautiful and they were so spot on. The crowd was absolutely insane. TAYF followed by WYWTB was just a perfect set list. going back tonight for round 2 p.s. If you have a chance to see this tour, I HIGHLY recommend you do it.
God, seeing WYWTB in full would just blow me away, so many special memories to both that album and Louder Now.
I’m pretty fucking salty that I couldn’t go to the holiday shows this year, and jealous of people who got to hear “I Am Fred Astaire” and “Little Devotional” live for the first time. I need to see video footage of those two.
hes been touring with them for a number of years doing third guitar/piano/etc and with recent departure role is increased. good guy
Backed on the good dude bit. I chatted with him for a bit after a show in Philly in 2015, real humble and glad to just be a part Of this whole thing, and when we parted ways he said “get home safe” or “be safe driving home”, which I think is always a cool thing for a person to say to someone else.
The Rookie. John Nolan super imposed his face onto the promo poster for it once but I cannot find it now
