Their post seemed pretty specific about "Leg 1" and more to come, so that's good news for everyone. I'd expect them to run this through 2019.
I will say that i wish TAYF wasnt like, a guarantee every night. I wish other albums would get a roll through but i guess i can appreciate that rehearsing 7 albums to make sure everything is tight would be insane
They are doing two nights in Denver, so they'll do TAYF both nights, and they'll do WYWTB one night and Louder Now the other night. They're flipping a coin on Night 1 to decide which night gets which. So you'll have to go to both shows to guarantee seeing it!
I hope Nashville gets two shows on leg 2. I will go to both. My old man body may die but I will do it
praying the NYC shows are a friday/saturday - weeknight shows in the city are brutal for this long islander. but i'm still gonna do it.
Nice! I totally read it wrong and thought it was just TAYF in full one night then a coin flip for which they play the next night.
Saw TAYF on the anniversay tour, so thats whatever but god damn I would want WYWTB in the worst way. I would probably die if I got tickets to MN and they played Louder Now. I'd be so god damn sad.
Keeping my eye on this. Seeing that it occurs on a weekend in Portland, I will def consider seeing them one of those nights.
Seeing WYWTB in full would be a dream come true. Probably the most important album of all time for me.
I guess the NYC shows won't get announced till after their holiday shows. Also, based off the venue for the LA shows, I'm assuming our NYC show will be at Summerstage or the Hulu theater at MSG.
Central Park Summer Stage would be awesome, anywhere but playstation theater, terminal 5 honestly. Coney island theater would be fun too, even though the sound there is less than ideal.
150% yes. I am buying the album for 2 new songs and a bunch of songs I already have! It would have been cool to see them redo a lot of them with influences from current era TBS, because as we all know Adam can’t really handle a lot of them anymore.
it looks like the entire east coast will be leg 2, which if i had to guess will be early-mid summer through fall of 2019 i imagine a break would come after the 3 month long leg 1
I'm with ya, I think Terminal 5 is one of the worst venues I've ever been to. Coney Island is nice and the right size for this (6k capacity), but that place is just soooo inconvenient to get to.
Hmmm, I wonder if this means no new album in 2019. Also, feel like they’ve already done TAYF to death but really wish I could see WYWTB and LN. as others have mentioned, it’d be great to get a mixture of all 7 but there’s just not a demand for that unfortunately.
