I saw Avenged Sevenfold / Coheed in 2006. Agreed that they play with pretty big range of bands.

TBS is fun live but they don’t always sound great....Mostly if Adam’s voice isn’t fresh. Dude has smoked too much, his voice doesn’t have the stamina anymore. Then again, no one does as they get older haha

 

Maybe it varies? Last two times I saw them 10/16 and 07/17 he sounded like he’s improved

 

Yeah it definitely varies...last time we saw them he sounded okay, time before that was rouggggh

 

I saw the band twice on the same tour a while back. The show earlier on in the tour was so fucking good, while the later one felt kind of disappointing. Of course he’s only human, but when Adam’s voice has been at it night after night, it’s very apparent.

 

I agree. He starts off great then about halfway through the tour his voice starts to get tired, which drags the overall energy of the band down a bit. Except for Shaun and Mark, they’re always going hard no matter what haha

 

most of the newer songs are much more in his range.

 

The worst is when Adam and John always do the acoustic morning radio shows during their tours and Adam always sounds really, really bad during that.

 

Adam sounds bad acoustic no matter the time of day

 

The difference between Live from Orensanz and TAYF 10 Acoustic is night and day though.

 

Orensanz = GOAT

 

Factual statement is factual. Hell, despite it being auto-tuned as fuck, the Live From Bamboozle ‘09 album is great too.

 

I've probably written this 15 different times on this website, but I really wish Orensanz would get pressed to vinyl.

 

Eddie just posted a fb status that seems pretty positive, that he is looking to turn himself around, mentioned AA meetings, so that seems to confirm what we assumed the issues leading to the departure may have been, but great for him that he is getting it together.
