I'm not in any way condoning impaired driving, but it's incredibly easy to pass that 0.08 (or your states limit) after a few high abv beers and think that you're fine to drive, especislly with a tolerance (bac still rises whether you feel physically impaired or not). Not saying his actions were right, I'm just assuming his case was similar, and he doesn't seem like the type of guy to get behind the wheel knowingly intoxicated.
They ruled on FormSpring. There was a ton of really honest answers on there outside of the hilarious ones. "‘I was a tower and you were the airplane’ is a bad lyric. it’s obvious, that’s true. what was the name of your record again? i’ll go run by the store tomorrow and pick it up. -Adam Lazzara"
You’re gonna get divisive answers on this. I saw TBS last year and I’d say yes, but granted I haven’t seen Coheed live since 2008
i'm a huge coheed fan and know what they bring to the table musically and energy wise. i'm just afraid tbs is going to play to a lot of empty arenas. from what i'm hearing most people are only going to show up for coheed.
TBS at it's best still does not match Coheed's live show. I love TBS but Coheed live is just another level entirely.
I think that may be misinformation. I know PLENTY of people going for tbs, and twitter says counter of this too
I've seen TBS twice since tidal wave and haven't seen coheed since 2010 besides a very short part of a festival set in 2015. I feel safe in saying coheed is going to blow them out of the water. No offense to TBS but coheeds music is just more fun live. TBS has the nostalgic emo hits but outside of that? Nothing's gonna be as fun as Claudio wanking on his double neck
yeah this seems like a bad lineup. i would rather see coheed play for 2 hours then have them split time. i dont' understand this match up at all? can someone explain why coheed even agreed to do this tour ?
probably because they are gearing up to release a new album and want to get back out in front of people, and also because both they and TBS have done shows and festivals together in the past and have been HUGE parts of this scene for as long as they've been bands. it's not shocking really that they're pairing up. there have been way more head-scratching pairings before.
it kinda just sounds like you're not a TBS fan at all which is fine, but it's not surprising or really even shocking that they are pairing up. Coheed has been away for a while, so pairing them up with a band of similar genre that tours constantly isn't a strange move.
i personally cannot wait for this show. i love both bands and know they're both capable of putting on great sets.
I mean I think it's a great line up minus the story so far. TBS will be fun and a huge warm up for Coheed to melt my face off
When I saw TBS last summer it was a pretty good crowd and of course people got really into everything from the first three albums. I never got into Coheed so maybe I'm biased but it seems really weird to say people won't come out for TBS or that they don't have crossover with Coheed fans or whatever point is being made here
