That user a few pages back made it seem like it was decided that tour was no longer a good environment for him, and then he implied the info came from eddie’s uncle. I don’t know if that means that was eddies uncle himself or they knew him. Eddie does post a lot and then deletes it, and he posted about addiction on his Facebook the other day. It’s possible it was a forced decision for them saying they needed somebody that could tour and him saying that he couldn’t guarantee that.
i hate to speculate, we have so little information. just hope whatever eddies situation is that he is able to be well, and that the band can continue without any hiccups.
Yesterday, TBS posted an Instagram video where Adam introduced him and John as “two-fifths of taking Back Sunday.” When the band announced they were going to be on a fest in Buffalo, they used a photo with Eddie cropped out. Apparently their manager is annoyed that people point out this mistake. Interesting to note that in the thread of that tweet she replied to somebody saying “there was a reason...” hmmm
Someone commented on their tweet saying it'd be nice to see the full band, they responded with a link to the statement of Eddie no longer being in the band...yet they still have Eddie's Twitter Handle (along with the other 4) in their Twitter bio. I don't think they're handling this well, tbh.
Yeah this is a mess, to put it lightly. Also why was the announcement only on their site and Facebook? Especially when they’re relatively active on Twitter? Then they’ll get sarcastic or whatever when people ask questions. Jillian complaining about her mistakes being pointed out is a weird move because her mistakes reflect back on the band. So people think it’s the band that’s sloppy or whatever. It’s her job.
yeah I thought this was weird too, if it's her job to manager their social media it reflects so badly on her and the band that she's being a dick to people on twitter because she can't edit a twitter bio.
So in a post on eddie’s Facebook a couple of days ago, his son responded to somebody saying there would be new music with somebody named mike drum? And on that post from his Instagram he said “hey javi are you ready to bust out these jams?”
I think they need a new person to look after their social media. Someone who's not as emotionally invested in the band and therefor is less inclined to snap back at fans for whatever reason.
Yeah it does make them look bad because the guys in the band are all pretty chill. Sure there were times in the past where Adam could be a dick or someone in the band said something in an interview that came off weird, but they're otherwise pretty normal. At least from my own personal experience.
YO. Best idea. That account is gold. They revealed the girl who runs it and her own personal twitter account is equally hilarious.
Do you remember when somebody asked like two years ago what he thought of Jesse Lacey and he was like “that guy’s a dick” and everybody was TERRIBLE to adam?
Yup and I do remember the drunk driving thing that followed (which is obviously a shitty move), but now knowing what we know about Jesse, it's not like the guy was wrong.
It doesn't change that he wasn't wrong. It's drunk driving, like it's a terrible decision, but it's not like he was grooming minors.
I forgot they were one right after another. I don’t know if Adam knew about what we know now, but I always read his comment as like “these people won’t stop asking me this no matter what I say so why does it matter?” I feel like Adam’s dwi is the reason they haven’t been to Canada in a while. Because I don’t think they’ve been since, and if I remember correctly it’s pretty hard to get into Canada with that on your record
yeah we definitely don't need to start up comparisons to jesse lacey in this thread so if we could avoid that
my favorite era of adam and social media was when he was using formspring. he gave some of the weirdest and funniest answers to shit.
Back in the day this tumblr was pretty active and they put together some of the best of them: Don't Be Weird
Formspring was a website where users could anonymously or not submit you questions/comments and you would answer them. There was a lot of controversy surrounding it because if you let people be even more anonymous on the internet, cyber bullying happens.
