I am not too picky about my music being super good quality but whenever I have ripped something from youtube it always comes out way quiet but maybe its just bad videos I'm choosing. I used to have an mp3 of FTF from back before WYWTB came out that I remember being pretty good quality but maybe I'm just remembering with rose tinted headphones. I wish they had a deluxe version of WYWTB or something on iTunes because I would gladly buy it.
"They Don't Have Any Friends" into "Better Homes and Gardens" never fails to give me chills. One of my favorite moments on any album.
something i noticed on my last listen of tidal wave, the lead melody that starts the bridge of fences is a subtle but really cool part.
Taking Back Sunday has always seemed to struggle finding artwork that properly fits the tone of their records.
Where you want To Be and New Again have great covers. The rest I don't outright hate but don't really care for either
Out of all the art for self titled I like the cover the least. But I've loved most of the other art and stuff. Still trying to find the New Again release bundle.
baby butt LN/NA/HI/TW all work. WYWTB if nothing else is memorable. TAYF is forgettable. S/T is like bad graphics on a PS1 game
Carpathia into EMG might be my favorite way of them finishing a record. I really want to see that transition live
"Good review.Adam Lazarra has the smug look of a guy who can give himself a blow job." Best thing I've read in 22 years of life.
I feel like they're taking this 'we're not an emo band' too far with some of the festivals they're playing this summer. Between Rock on the Range and Rocklahoma, they're playing with a lot of hard rock and metal bands. They seem way out of place on those bills.
Looks like they're teasing a new video from Tidal Wave. They posted the "Tidal Wave" video last night with "stay tuned", and then posted the "You Can't Look Back" video about 15 minutes ago. What song do we think? If they wanted to make a political statement with a video, "We Don't Go In There" could be it....other ones I'd bet on would be "All Excess" or "Call Come Running".
Adam and especially John have been relatively outspoken politically in the last year over the election. And there's definitely a couple of songs on Tidal Wave that are political....could be a way to cause some buzz around an album that never got the buzz it deserved.
