Yeah I'd say Capital M-E and Catholic Knees are two of the weakest songs, aside from the title track. But yoooo Carpathia is so good
TAYF Tidal Happiness WYWTB Louder NA Self-titled I realize today that New Again isn't last for me cause both those last two, I only love 4 or 5 songs but the great songs on NA are better than the s-t ones
WYWTB TW HI LN ST TAYF NA where you want to be is so fucking good. Thought it was their most mature album up until tidal. Just a great early 20s album that never felt like it was being overly emotional and cliche like tayf did.
I'm always a little disappointed with how little love s/t gets. I'm not sure where I would rank it now but it does have at least 5 songs I really love Bottom two for me would be TAYF and LN
The problem with S/T is that "Money" and "Since You're Gone" are offensively bad songs whose B-Side counterparts could've saved that album, and Eric Valentine's production kills everything. People like to shit on "Sad Savior" but like "Miami", the latter half of that song is pretty great.
If we're gonna go album by album a list the worst song off each one, my ranking would go as follows: The Blue Channel The Union (pains me to say that because I actually love that song, but if there's a worst song on WYWTB, it's that one) Up Against Cut Me Up Jenny Money Like You Do Homecoming (again, I actually like this song, but it's the weakest link on an otherwise great album)
Also, to bring back up a topic discussed previously, "They Don't Have Any Friends" is a jam and I won't hear any different haha sure, it's not their best work lyrically, but musically it's incredible and Mark's drumming in the bridge is ace.
I pretty much agree with all of these except for WYWTB and TW I'd go: Number 5 With A Bullet (for the record I still love this song. There's not a bad song on this record if you ask me) In The Middle Of It All (a fine song, but very generic) Honorable mention for me goes to It Doesn't Feel A Thing Like Falling for the self-titled. I know I'm in the minority here, but that song bores me to tears.
