Well the story (so far huehue) can be summed up by this article: The Douchebag Singer of The Story So Far Dropkicked a Girl Off Stage Just for Taking a Selfie (he did the same to a guy who came on stage under similar circumstances at a different gig) He's never apologised and never even addressed it, and his band are asked on tours like this like nothing ever happened.
Got tickets for coney island. Very excited that its a saturday and i can spend the entire afternoon eating nathans hotndogs and drinking at the coney island brewery before the show.
Why? If you're not into Coheed, you can just leave early. But even then, skipping Coheed is dumb they slay live especially compared to TBS.
I've seen TBS 12 times already (I've also seen Coheed a few times as well - although it's been probably 13 or 14 years since) and have zero desire to spend the ridiculous $80 (after fees) for this show. I'd maybe be a little more interested if TBS was promoting a new album to hear new songs for the first time, but that's not the case. Also, I knew nothing about TSSF, but from what I've heard and seen from them, I'm a bit disturbed TBS would take them out on the road with them, so I definitely don't want to support that band in any way.
That sucks yours is $80, my date (Philly) had a groupon for GA tickets at $30. I'd say Coheed is worth checking out if you haven't seen them in so long.
Coheed is like my main selling point for the tour. I've seen TBS probabaly 10 or so times but never seen Coheed and based on what people are saying about their shows, its worth it. Can't go wrong seeing my fav band play with another extremely entertaining live band.
I like that they’re straight up about it, especially since it’s the same set length, that removes the concern about who’s closing anyway
Yeah it really doesnt matter who closes, set lengths will probably be 90 mins a piece each. Only difference is thats way more tbs songs than coheed songs.
You’d think but then Adam tells 20 minute stories between songs and since they’re ampitheaters he’ll be “projecting” and doing the preacher voice.
"Ladies and gentlemen this is a brand new song and it's the best song ever recorded . . (5 mins of talking about how good the song is and how much people are gonna love it)" and then they play the song
