What about the other bonus tracks, This Is Happening and the other one that isn't How I Met Your Mother (bad song), which are both fantastic?
The version I had on Apple Music only had those three. I will see if they have the version you are speaking of.
I never realized the three after Nothing At All were all bonus tracks. Those songs are great as well.
In the grand scheme of the record, those three songs do feel out of place and are of lesser quality than the rest of the album. In my opinion, Tidal Waves > Happiness Is... anyway.
It’s a great song and one of my favs on HI. But saying it’s an all time top tbs may be a sliiiiiight exaggeration.
I've still never heard the bonus tracks that came with the Best Buy version of Tidal Wave - 1) Tidal Wave (acoustic); 2) Holy Water (acoustic); and 3) Untitled (hidden track)
The whole songs perfect, it’s an aggressive heavy hitter. And if you take out Like You Do, that run of Friends, Homes, and Younger is one of their best 3 track runs. Shame that track has to wreck it.
also i completely came around to "like you do" bc i fell in love with someone around the time that record came out, and it's a good "i'm really falling for someone" jam
How can I disagree with someone with a Hats avatar so fiercely. It's awful. The subject matter is laughable. Like You Do is a bop, only complaint is that it's a little safe and stock, but a nice song anyway.
They Don't Have Any Friends and Like You Do are both great TW is much better than HI but both are good Oh and Can You Feel That and This is Happening, both great as well
every now and then a song from Tidal Wave comes on shuffle and i'm blown away all over again at how fucking good this record is
