All the songs are great, especially Miami and Error: Operator. Add Brooklyn and sleep and just call it a phenomenal, albeit long, album :D
Yup haha that songs a total banger, especially live. 20/20 isn’t a great song but it’s also fun live and the bassline in it is good. I guess the more I think about it the more I realize that Up Against and Divine Intervention could be replaced by Brooklyn and Sleep. Miami’s latter half is too good to deny. Also, I’ll let You Live is an underrated closer. Better than than “Nothing at All” and “Head Club” imo.
The low end on the entire album never felt right. I think it's part of Valentine's style. I always found myself putting on Louder Now Pt. 2 if I really want to crank the stereo in the car.
Yeah, the drums always sound bland or flat to me, and the bass guitar always sounds like it was strung with flatwound strings. It never really cuts through the mix. The snare drum sound reminds me of the punching sound effects from 80's action movies.

Checking in to say that I’ve been jamming “Miami” a lot lately. As much as I’m not a fan of the first half of that song, the 2nd half is incredible.
The verses, solo, and ending to Miami are all fantastic. The chorus is a little bland, but overall it's a solid song.
