Spin vs This Is All Now was tough. Had to listen to them back to back. Spin just has an amazing energy too it. Struggled with Romances vs Homes, Romances might just win because of nostalgia.

 

Spin vs This is All Now to me is a weak match-up this late in the game. This is All Now is a top 3 or 4 song on an overall weak album and to me Spin is probably bottom 3-5 on Louder Now.

 

And yet 17-9

 

My point wasn't that one song is greater than the other. My point was I believe it's a weak match-up because both songs are not great - this late in the game. Saying This is All Now is a top 3 or 4 song on a weak album isn't a glowing compliment. I like This is All Now and Spin, but I probably wouldn't rank either in my top 30 TBS songs. If that.

I love both songs in the top of my list of their songs lol

 

It's in my top 10 songs by them.

But if it ends up against Spin I'm Sorry Bread we are on opposite teams

 

I can agree with that, I like Spin and This is All Now but they aren't the heavy hitters like Flicker Fade, Decade, EMG, 180 and BH&G. It does seem like luck that they made it to the finals.

 

Very interesting seeing the numbers this round.

 

I wouldn't call it luck. They're just as heavy hitters IMO as those ones. I am happy with everything that ended up in this bracket, pretty much my favorites off every album except YCLB

 

Let's get some more You Cant Look Back votes in, guys. Best song.

I would have preferred CCR over YCLB

Call Come Running is fun but is a pretty basic rock song and the guitar solo is actually pretty bad and takes away from the song

 

YCLB wasn't even the best pre-release track from Tidal Wave. In fact, it was probably the worst.

 

I think Tidal Wave is their worst album, so the thought of voting something from it over 180 was not going to happen

 

I prefer Death Wolf over it by miles.

This isn't to say I dislike YCLB, I like it

 

Plus, YCLB sounds real close to Boys of Summer
