I also forgot about the Happiness Is... b-sides. How I Met Your Mother and This Is Happening are good, and Can You Feel That (Here I Am) is great.
It's so good. That chorus feels so good to belt out at the top of your lungs. I don't think I've made a single road trip mix without including that song.
Lord knows it takes a lot of medicine to keep this pace I'd never thought it'd be so easy to manipulate oh, house of horrors, house of ours you resent me like your father oh I can't get enough, and you can't take it any longer despite the smile and pain of sharing my last name I'll stay, you'll change
It's nothing mind blowing, but I like it. Very reminiscent of "How I Met Your Mother". I like that John is featured far more heavily here. Also, I love the artwork.
felt exactly the same. i hate judging new songs based on live versions first, and i totally judged this one. haha.
Wooah now, I'll Let You Live is one of the best songs on LN! I get chills every time Adam sings "you represent and actively encourage all of my worst habits they are all- proof that we're both capable of the most terrible things, don't test me" Unless you just propose that song get moved, then I totally agree :). Brooklyn's a great jam.
That album seriously had some solid B-Sides. Mackey Sasser is probably one of my favorites they've ever done.
I might be in the minority, but I think Tidal Wave rules. But maybe it's because they're doing Gaslight Anthem better than Gaslight Anthem did on the last album...
Sometimes I feel like the only one here that doesn't love Gaslight. I mean they're good, but I don't get all the hype.
Song is an awesome first single, but I don't think gives an indication as to what the full album will sound like given how Happiness Is... and Holy Water sound.
I love the song. I think TBS are doing a great job of just doing what they want to do. It's definitely got a bit of a Gaslight vibe in there. Loved Happiness. Can't wait to hear this one.
It's such a bummer Not Going Anywhere didn't make it onto S/T. What a fucking jam. Mackey Sasser too. S/T is solid as is, but with some of those demos on there instead of Falling and Who Are You, album would have been right up there with WYWTB and TAYF.
