Or maybe Adam has the wording right and he really does mean to say that he does care at least a little bit?
A personal pet peeve I have is the use of the term "1st annual". And yes, loud chewing or breathing gets me too.
Whenever some says 1st annual I just hope whatever they're talking about doesn't make it to a second year. Just out of pure spite.
If The Union is up against (no pun intended) A Slowdance on the Inside during the 1st round of WYWTB, I will literally jump out of a window.
Happy New Year vs Happy New Years. It's a small difference but like nails on a chalkboard to me. Another pet peeve is My Blue Heaven possibly losing. Tragedy.
If we're talking about grammar pet peeves I don't know if it gets any worse than people who write "could of"
My college roommate once drunkenly asked me "how can we make beer be more better?" So although that is a grammatically fucked up phrase, I still chuckle at it when I hear it haha
Every time I see that, I do a Joe Pesci a la Goodfellas and slam something on the ground, yelling "motherfucker!"
These are all hard to read but I think the could/couldn't care less if the worst for me because it should just sound wrong right after you say it. some of the other peeves you can chalk up to sloppy talking, but this one friggin changes the meaning.
Alright everyone, this round is OVER. But, we have a problem. Spin-15 My Blue Heaven-15 30 votes, evenly split. So I have to tie break. I need to think on this....I'm gonna take a drive and listen to both songs a couple times.
