they did a lot before 2002, but were very local to long island and that main area, they have demos that were released prior to TAYF. you can nitpick when the band rose to fame but Taking Back Sunday, regardless of the lineup, has been a band since 1999.

Didn't The Used go on a "15th Anniversary" tour in 2016 even though their debut came out in 2002? Same concept for Taking Back Sunday.

 

Yeah and that wasn't a cash grab at all.

 

Any idea when leg 2 with east coast dates will be announced?

 

My guess is after the NJ christmas shows, early 2019.

 

Those dates likely won’t be until the fall so I imagine like April or May unless they announce it super early.
