Glad I wasn't the only one who noticed lol Definitely looked like he was trying to put on this southern showman performance. Guessing moving back to NC made him adopt it again.

Honestly, I've noticed that from him during shows for some time now - dating back to like the 2011-2012 shows. Maybe not as much as he does it now, but I've noticed it.

It's definitely a showman thing, because he doesn't talk like that at all in interviews.

He's still a very entertaining front man but man was he talkative these past two shows. Even more so on Monday night.

He is entirely too talkative, and sometimes it's hilarious when either John or Mark will cut in and literally tell him to be quiet and play the song. I've seen that happen a few times lol

I could listen to Brian Fallon banter for hours though, and he's another talkative one lol

They could easily fit two more songs into the encore of this tour is he cut back on the preacher bit. It's fun about 60% of the time but it always goes too long.

Yikes! That’s what I get for copying & pasting and not proofreading. Haha.

Adam sounds like a southern race horse announcer. Haha.

I think Adam said in interviews in the past that he had the accent when he was young and kind of dropped it when he moved up to LI to be in TBS, but now that they're further along in their career and he's living in the south again, he's kind of let it flow a little bit more often.

As I posted the night of, the one time Adam talked WAY too long for us was for Divine Intervention. It was at least 10 minutes between the song and talking. Possibly more, I didn’t think to time it.

Prior to Divine Intervention on Monday night, he alluded to being told he was talking too long before that song...and then went on to talk for five more minutes. He said he's not going to tell the story that he normally tells but kept on going anyway about other shit, haha.

He still told quite a bit of stories before New American Classic, What's it Feel Like to Be a Ghost, Number 5 with a Bullet and several others.

They could have definitely fit in 2-3 more songs had he cooled it down a little. I want to say Monday's show was 10-15 minutes longer than Tuesday's show just because they didn't talk at all in between albums (the coin flip process took forever) and Monday he went on and on every 3-4 songs about how 'we're the luckiest people you'll ever meet' but didn't say that at all until prior to the last song on Tuesday.

There was one point last night where Adam was rambling on for a while and Mark kind of start hitting the drums quite a few times and then John looked at Adam and then pointed to Mark and I think it was John and Mark's way of telling Adam to shut the fuck up, haha.

Also...maybe I've heard the story before (because it sounded semi-familiar) but before What's it Feel Like to be a Ghost he said that the band was having a lot of inner turmoil (obviously) and he 'legally' couldn't say who the song was about but he got drunk one night and called 'this person' seven straight times and kept leaving a voicemail that just said 'what's it feel like to be a ghost?'

I assumed he was talking about John, but that'd be so awkward to tell that story with John standing right next to him. Plus, there are more obvious songs about John (i.e. The Union).

Also, before Number 5 with a Bullet, he was talking about someone else he wouldn't name that he used to call 'free bird.' I know there was some controversy with FOB about them stealing stuff from Number 5 with a Bullet but Adam said 'free bird' was from New Jersey and I don't think anyone from FOB is from Jersey.

FUCKKKKK they added in My Name is Jonas cover in the encore.

They had been soundchecking it all tour and I even messaged them to please play it at the CLE show, but didn't. They've played it the last three nights.

    It's chaos. Be kind. Prestigious

I went to the first night of this in Detroit and had a fun time. The crowd was insufferable at times but TBS ruled and I was so psyched to get WYWTB.

The cover was great and a nice bonus to the set. Wouldn't have minded a different song in its place on the 2nd night.

Also their banter between songs is terrible. Do they do the 'food they had before the show' shtick in every city and BOTH nights?

Fun couple of nights overall though

    Maybe so, maybe not.

Don't forget the fake southern preacher voice.

It didn't really bother me until he used it during Cute without the E. Sort of ruined the song for me.

Didn't want to nitpick everything. It is a fun show.

They added it a few weeks ago to many of the shows.
