I would have liked to hear Sink Into Me personally, but I feel like night 1 was rowdier but I had more fun night 2.
I think adam has sounded great (way better than maybe a few years ago) when i've seen him recently, i think he could pull it off
Went to night 1 in Nashville. Definitely was happy we got wywb but really wish they'd done all ready to go or you cant look back or lots of others honestly. I didnt need to see tayf live again, especially when in a standard set you know you're gonna get most of those songs. But I really enjoyed Adam's stories. Some of the talk was meandering but overall it was a good night.
I assume TBS goes on at 9:10? They haven't posted set times yet today but I believe it's been 910 most nights.
I thought both shows were pretty good. Not the best I've ever seen them, but not the worst either. To be honest, my expectations weren't all that high due to this being a very long year of touring for them and I figured Adam's voice would be completely shot by this point but he sounded pretty good for the most part. Adam talked WAYYY too much throughout, killing the vibe quite a bit of times in my opinion. Also, that autotune mic or whatever it is he kept using was way overboard and completely inaudible (I think it was messed up the first night). I felt at times they were being loud just for the sake of being loud. Honestly two of the loudest shows I can recall in recent memory. While Adam did talk a lot, he did throw in some interesting tidbits every now and then about some of the songs, which was kind of cool.
Did they play A Decade Under The Influence during the WYWTB album? I would assume so, but I’ve also seen multiple setlist.fm sets that aren’t showing it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Taking Back Sunday Setlist at House of Blues, Cleveland
Monday sounded better I think, but I was definitely more excited for WYWTB. LN dragged pretty hard at points Whatcha Got? Rest Easy If You Want Blood Two Out Of Three Electricity Rebels Love A Liar In The Meantime Show Me On The Doll In The Shadows I actually requested them play Pretend Kings so the second night they played that instead of Meantime/Doll Best band
Was there last night too and agree some songs were kinda eh performance wise but then they nailed others. I was fine with Adam's stories, just wished people in the crowd weren't assholes during during them. Also I have to ask since this was my first time seeing them since like 2014, when did Adam develop this whole southern accent thing?
when you see him talk in interviews its nowhere near as noticeable, honestly it feels like he puts it on for shows lol
I was so distracted by this the first time I saw them like a year ago for the first time since like 2006 haha
Being from Long Island (where Adam is from), there are some people who talk in a similar accent to him... but it seems he definitely flaunts it a bit.
