Even if Riot gives them like two sets to play two albums and an aftershow or whatever.. idk. Exactly what @ItsAndrew said. There's always someone else that feels more crucial for me to see at Riot since TBS tours so much, but in turn I miss out on a lot of TBS shows because they're always playing Riot late on a side stage. I kind of wonder if they do TAYF at Riot fest and then an after show where they do WYWTB and LN. Which would still be cool so idk we'll see.

they said on twitter in a reply the other day that they have a lot of summer/fall festivals that theyre a part of but cannot announce them yet, might explain some of the odd gaps and cities left out
After shows are cool but at festivals I’m legit exhausted after a day of seeing bands and just want to go home and sleep to prepare for the next day. If they did a proper tour stop in Chicago at either Thalia Hall, House of Blues, or even The Vic/Riviera, they would probably sell any of those places or come pretty close to selling out.
Oh i agree this isn't what I want lol. I definitely wouldn't do both aftershows if they went that route.
Could be...but that'd probably be an hour set, with mostly TAYF front to back for the millionth time. Would much rather have the two-nights.
So this coin flip on a city that gets 2 shows.. Does that just determine what album is played each night or could you get TAYF/LN on both nights?
TAYF is both nights, the coin flip is to determine if WYWTB or Louder Now is played on the first night, and then the other one that didn't get played will be on night 2 (with TAYF).
Most likely that their radius clause with Riot Fest isn't letting them announce their proper show, but that there's still one coming. I'd bet money the day after Riot Fest they announce 2 Chicago dates for November.
so basically if you decide to go both nights to hear Louder Now and WYWTB, you'll get tell all your friends twice? Tough decision on if the 2 nights is worth it in that case. I'd almost rather have a single date and just be forced to get what I get. Not sure I love Tell all your friends enough to hear it twice, but I will be having doubts/regrets if I get the wrong one out of the coin flip (and I am sure both dates will sell out). 1st world problem I know. Maybe I buy tickets to both and stubhub the 2nd date if all goes as planned. In case anyone cares, I'd prefer Louder Now.
I can't understate how much they would perform Happiness Is instead of TAYF a second time. I'm going, regardless. But still.
Same here on LN. I get the whole coin flip thing, but I'm sure there's enough people to want to see Louder Now and WYWTB to announce the nights beforehand.
