I think the timing is bad. Most people here have been drinking all day at Riot Fest. Thy don't want to hear 12 new songs.
I agree with this. And the record isn't even a day old. I'll be laughing if the "encore" is 2 or 3 songs.
Haha I'd be so happy if they just played post OG reunion shit, honestly. I've heard the old shit already.

Overall, it was a good show. I don't know the new album at all because I was only able to get one listen in last night on the way back to my hotel. I'm not personally one to ever complain and say "they played shit I didn't know" but I thought the decision to play the new album, less than a day later, in front of a mostly "festival crowd" was a strange decision. I knew the three (or was it four?) pre-release songs pretty well from listening to them a couple of times and from what I could tell everything sounded pretty solid. The crowd wasn't that disrespectful minus a few people chanting: "play old shit!" Which is stupid. The second set (if you want to call it that) was chalked full of what everyone in the crowd wanted and the place erupted. Wether or not you want to act elitist or you've seen the "hits" enough, that's what a normal TBS show is. It's a sing-a-long. I personally don't understand the decision to play it at this show but I can never be mad about and let it completely ruin a show for me.
I'm actually ordering tickets now. I've seen TBS a dozen times since 2002 and I'm extremely excited to hear Tidal Wave front to back.
