I've always been a big fan of "Carpathia"

 

even in a boot he can't help but to rock out. It's tough because him and Matt were a great fit and it'd be nice to see where they would have went but with John and Shaun back in they've written some fantastic songs.

 

Seriously what happened to Adam and why did he eat old Adam

 

He quit doing drugs, which made him thicker for a bit. He's in better shape these days though.

 

He also sounds a ton better than before too

 

The stage presence from Fazzi and Rubano is great in that video. Makes sense considering they were a big part of the NA songwriting process. I've met Fazzi a couple times at shows and he seems to genuinely like that record, I'm sad he didn't get a fair shot in that band, especially with his vocals.

I forgot someone was talking his weight earlier and almost wrote "I do! heavy TBS would be awesome."

 

As long as this band is together, I'm always going to want them to properly record and release this song -- obviously it'd have to be with a new title now.

 

Man that sounds like a totally different song. It'd be cool for them to record it maybe as a hidden track or b side for the new album, but I love the version on the album so I don't want them to replace it.

Reminds me of Story of the Year's "Terrified". Before Black Swan came out, they played it live and it was a fast paced song but the album version is an acoustic/piano ballad. Shocked me on the first listen but I like the choice overall.

 

Tidal Wave somehow sounded the best of their entire set last night, the other new song sounded the worst. Weird how that happens

i just showed it to my girlfriend and said "real shocker, huh?"

 

the general gist I'm getting from twitter is that emo night la wanted him to do a dj set / appearance type thing and he declined then said on stage that emo nights were lame or something equally inoffensive.

 

at the show he made a joke about Taking Back Tuesday profiting off the band, but it was completely obviously in jest. He then said how amazing it is that it exists and the nostalgia makes them feel amazing

 

ah ok. so it sounds like it was just miscommunication then.

 

this album is really really good

Not gonna pry for too many deets, but is the rest of the album really as different from the title track as they claim? I was really hoping for a whole album in a more punk vein like that.

 

Really? I got a half-baked Against Me vibe from the first song they released, my expectations have not been high

 

yeah Tidal Wave the single is not indicative of the entire album but there are a ton better songs on it
