Yep. TW in full with minimal breaks and talking between songs. Then a short intermission/long break and play abou 9-11 greatest hits. Depending on the venue/city there is an encore.
i mean, if we're going to boil all these discussions down to"well if you post 'this album is great/garbage' then thats worthless" then whats the point of us even discussing music. it was kind of dumb to come into a thread for the band and just shit on them but it was also kind of dumb to jump all over that user and call them a troll. but what do i know
I'm not being condescending though? It just seemed like you thought I said people should do neither so I wanted to clear it up that I said the opposite
You guys seem to be saying the same thing tbh, unless I'm understanding someone wrong. I agree though - it's lame to jump all over someone and call them a troll just because they don't like the band
And if we're gonna be cool with "this album is great" then there really shouldn't be any problem with "this album sucks"
I'm like 85% sure it was advertised in advance..I know at least John mentioned it in interviews weeks prior to the tour
The band never made an official announcement about it, though. All they said was "longer sets, smaller rooms," which led fans to believe deep cuts would be played.
I'll admit I thought this until I read the interview with John. I am ok with what they're doing though, although the set lists don't seem that much longer
I only bought tickets tomorrow bc I saw they were playing the new record lol. I can understand why an average fan would be disappointed I shouldn't drink wine and post on here
in my humble opinion, since none of the venues were advertising it as such, you cant blame the average tbs fan for not knowing. saying it in an interview isnt really fully advertising it as a tidal wave full album tour.
You may be right about the interview. I didn't read any or watch any in lead up to the album/tour. Until I saw it posted in here or the tour thread, I assumed their normal set plus about 4-5 TW songs mixed in. Given the reaction of most people, I am pretty sure they had no idea until they got there what was happening.
