Adam having Sleep and Brooklyn as 2 of his favorite TBS songs makes me so happy. Hope we'll get to hear one (or both) on the upcoming tour (looking over Setlist.fm I'm not sure they've ever played Sleep)
Listened to All The Way, Set Phasers to Stun, and Brooklyn this morning. Forgot just how good all three of those songs are.
Nice, but I hope it's not Death Wolf. If it is, I won't listen. It's a small pet peeve of mine when bands release the first track of the album ahead of the release date. I always like to have that be fresh and new.
As much as it pains me to do, I'm gonna hold off on listening to the newest incoming track. I've made the mistake in the past of listening to too many tracks on upcoming albums. Not this time! I'm waiting for the whole shebang. (Also, the bridge and outro of Miami are some of my favorite moments.)
Yeah, I usually do the same. I don't know, though, I feel like trying something different this time. I'll absolutely read the comments about the song, though.
Adam has to be cursed to be the type of band member that doesn't hold as much affection for his older stuff with Taking Back Sunday being probably THE biggest offender of fans who only want to listen to their earliest stuff.
Yeah its kind of funny how other bands embrace their earlier work as cult classics (Thursday, JEW, Every Time I Die) and TBS, specifically Adam, dislike TAYF and WYWTB from what I understand. They still play those hits from those albums but Adam has always kind of shit on TAYF and WYWTB especially their production. Plus shitting on NA. its a shame. WYWTB and NA and TAYF are easily their best records imo.
yeah id be willing to bet tomorrow at around 2, id also be willing to bet good money its Death Wolf. They seem to like releasing the opener as a single (Flicker Fade, El Paso, New Again, Set Phasers To Stun)
annoys the heck outta me when bands do that. tbh tho i rarely listen to more than just the first single from an album so ill probably skip this one anyway. i just wanna hear this whole thing soon damn it
It's mostly in the vocal melody at the start, it takes some more interesting turns later on. Much different from the title track, in a good way, even though I like that song.
Oh man. I really like this song. So good and the last minute is straight up old school tbs. excited to hear the rest of the album
