The only songs on Louder Now that really suck are I'll Let You Live and Divine Intervention. Replace those with Sleep and Brooklyn and Louder Now is perfect IMO.
Did I really just see someone try to defend Miami? That is a proper dumpster fire of a song. Don't lie to yourself.
The only part of Miami I'm not crazy about is the chorus. The rest is actually pretty good, especially the bridge/outro. It's definitely not a top tier TBS song though.
The same producer that did Louder Now did S/T right? I think part of the reason I never listened to S/T is because that dude did such a botched job production wise on Louder Now. As much as I like it, the drums sound horrendous and I'm not big on the guitar tones either
pretty sure that's Eric Valentine. I hate the way he produces records, especially the way drums sound on them.
I just looked at his wiki and I had no clue he did 3eb and Songs for the Deaf. I don't remember those albums sounding too bad
Maybe I should rephrase that. I hate the way he produces TBS albums. He has done some decent work otherwise
I personally like new again more than louder Now. Also the new again songs sound really good as the Orensanz versions. Self-titled is underrated IMO. El Paso, Best Places To Be a Mom, This is All Now, Since You're Gone and You Got Me are all solid tracks and Sad Savior, Faith, and Call Me in The Morning are OK tracks.
