I was hoping this would include The Ballad of Sal Villanueva and Your Own Disaster. Seems weird that they have four of the five demos from the TAYF demo but not include Your Own Disaster. (I'm assuming that's the missing one)

Skipping this completely due to the fact I couldn't get the forest green one lol. Congrats on snagging one!

Haven’t they pressed this album like 90,000 times?

Yes but now you get the demos, which I'm not even sure I want the demos on vinyl. The only proper way to listen to those is via mp3 using Winamp after downloading a zip file you found on a message board

If it’s not the original demos with the other guy singing songs that aren’t very good, I’m not interested

Slightly off topic but I listened to Tidal Wave for the first time recently and was blown away. It sounds like a different band really apart from 1 or 2 songs but it seems a real step up from the albums they released before that. It's been 6 years so hopefully more new music soon!

Tidal Wave is their best album since Louder Now in my opinion.

The demo they released for Great Romances is arguably better than the final recording. I had the same feeling when the demo for Error Operator was released. I liked it better than the final version. Also, I copped the blue version. I may have more variants of this record than any other.

  13. we're only 5 years away from the TAYF 25th Anniversary, which will certainly mean even more pressings

yeah but i think the first like 89,994 times were by Victory without the band really even knowing.

    Better than you, sorry

I think the band said this about most of the final songs. They picked it apart. They absolutely hated what happened to blue channel. But yeah, great romances intro with the clip about a beautiful girl —without it isn’t the same.
