Wow, 2/2 have been great so far. I was also going to comment that this is the best they've sounded since Louder Now. I pretty much wrote them off after that. Glad to hear them making somewhat of a "return to form." I look forward to hearing more.
Digging this more than the first track which sounded way too much like U2 for me (despite it being nice to hear Nolan’s vocals)
2/2 for me too. I'm really into Tidal Wave so it's surprising people are saying this is their best stuff since _____.
So excited for this new album. I can't believe it has been 7 years since Tidal Wave. I really like S'old but The One is growing on me. Especially listening to them together. The new stuff sounds mature but familiar. I am excited for 10/27. Also, I like the album title, cover, tracklisting, the merch designs, and even the suits that they have been wearing. It is a good look all around.
I like the music video. Mark wouldn’t turn the air conditioning on because of the price of gas! The song is fine. But It’s still so far from being their best stuff.
Not gonna lie I'm mildly obsessed with this song. Very very good and has me stoked for the new record.
Love, love the verses but that chorus is so mid. Just another old emo band I wish would hang it up honestly.
The hardest part to swallow about this song is the idea that Adam can actually sing this song. If you watch any live video of them playing this, he sounds like DOGSHIT
Because them still making music and doing what they love is a bad thing? Just don't listen to it but to wish they would stop? That's a wild thing to want.
Adam hasnt sounded good live in years. Maybe ever and it was just masked by stage presence. I love his voice on records though.
I think it's more that people feel like the band is "tarnishing their legacy" by continuing when they don't like them anymore. I don't agree with that, but I think it's more than just people complaining that they don't like the band. Personally, I don't get why anything new coming out from a band affects how you people about their old stuff. So what if TBS isn't that great live anymore? Don't go see them. I still had fun watching them at WWWY 2022. And even if I hadn't...so what?
