Pretty funny they had to wait for Coachella to announce first lol 6 months apart and totally different audiences
Yeah don’t know why tho cuz they are usually very strict for the for the bigger names. No one is going to Coachella to see them and they are like on the 3rd line for their day.
Agree back half of this is just so good So glad to see they're at coachella, seems like a huge shot in the arm for the band, just nothing but momentum again Really hope they return to studio soon with this new energy, easily to see they're at the top of their game rn
Setlist Insider: Taking Back Sunday Can’t believe I was the only show ever in the history of their band to see the one Brian Fallon appearance. Honored!
Monthly reminder that this album is dope. However, the number of snare-kick-snare-kick-snare-kick-snare fills is kinda funny to me at this point, I swear half the songs use it.
Lightbringer has held strong as my favorite album track here. That song hits me every single time. That second chorus hits so hard into the breakdown and final chorus. I love it so much. New Music Friday has also been a heavy hitter for me too. Such a banger and also a fun song to work out to.
I really enjoy S'Old on the album, but I hope they do acoustic versions of some of the other tracks because I don't imagine I'll listen to this one more than once. I like it as a banger, but the stripped down version not as much (based on the clips we've gotten so far).
The slow tease they've been doing for a single acoustic release has to be one of the weirdest parts of the entire album rollout
Is it really that weird? Seems just like just how acts have to play the game wrt social media and algorithms these days, especially post-album release
yeah, that's definitely it. Gotta keep the content train flowing to stay relevant in the algorithms. I realize this sounds sarcastic, but it's just the world now
Waterloo is my shit. I like the more simpler flavors but I quit drinking soda because of the stuff and never looked back.
I don't mind acoustic versions but remixes (especially of rock songs) is up there with my biggest music pet peeves
Just listened to Tidal Wave for the first time in a long time. Such a good record and they definitely went all in on the sonics + dynamics and would highly recommend listening on a good pair of headphones. There's a lot of shit deep in the mix that's actually really good like a bunch of John's harmonies layered.
