Driving up to Boston next week for a work trip. 6 hour trip so I’m listening to their entire catalog (excluding b-sides live albums and comps) for the drive up. Pretty stoked to have some time to sit and actively listen to how they’ve progressed as a band over time and ended up at 152.

 

I’m interested in seeing what they play next weekend. Ourside of those 3 album play shows, it feels like they haven’t played a proper headlining set in a long time—and definitely not since the album was released. I think they played roughly 19-20 songs last year, too. And tried to vary the setlists a tiny like there was a Night 1 and a Night 2

 

no joke, quit trying is my favourite song they've written and probably one of my favourite songs to exist now. new again was my favourite TBS record until 152 and i probably won't ever listen to NA again based on Quit Trying alone.

 

It’s killing me that there are no California dates for this , seems to maybe be a gap to squeeze in a show or two between Phoenix and Portland that would make some sense though. Or I’m just lost in the copium.

 

Rumors are they are doing Coachella. I assumed Cali dates get announced later.

Damn my date has a tiny capacity, 1649. Imagine that will be cool

 

That’s a pretty standard venue for them in most cities

Bottle And Cork is only 1100 capacity, def gets a little jammed in in there. Luckily it’s half outdoors

 

I don't really have a pulse on what shows do these days, but I was shocked to hear NFG and AAR did 15k in CT

 

I can only speak for Cleveland, but they have consistently played at the House of Blues Cleveland for the last 10-15 years and that's a 1,200 cap. Many of those shows weren't even sold out.

2 openers last night and only band opener w/ Koyo + Neil Rubenstein tonight so maybe they'll go on 930?

If they're not playing the whole album, the 6 from last night + Juice 2 Me or New Music Friday would be sweet

 

Glad to see Lightbringer being on basically every setlist since the album came out.
