I think Citizen is the only opener. Someone asked in the FB comments who the opener is and TBS themselves replied Citizen, it says on the flyer. and the person responded back 'but usually there is another open' and they replied again 'it's citizen'. For cleveland, it says doors at 7, show at 8, so I doubt there is a third band if it's starting at 8.
Which is great, because this leads me to believe TBS will play a pretty long set. Probably 152 in its entirety then another 12-15 songs.
Yeah hoping for something similar to the album release shows where they did the whole album following by a 14-15 song set. At this point we don’t need another opener especially if the show is starting at 8.
Better Lovers guys and TBS are homies. They all probably live 20 minutes from the venue so I really think that's a one off 3 band bill
The Delaware venue sells through a site that isn’t livenation or AXS and they have pricing available: BUY TICKETS – Taking Back Sunday w/ Special Guest Citizen – Bottle & Cork 129/209/309 for the packages I think that middle one is priced as fairly as a VIP experience can be (because how do you assign a monetary value to a q&a and deep dive)
If I'd ever spring for a VIP, supporting this album would def be the time. May have to do the 209 one.
so glad they’re playing the pageant, they played ballpark village last year and I skipped it because shows there usually blow
LOL wow, tickets for the NYC show are $70 each. Basically double the price I paid to see them at the 20th anniversary tour in 2019.
Thank you for posting this, just got me and my wife tickets. Never sprung for a VIP thing before but shit, it's in our home state, in the beachtown we love to be in, and she's from long island so big TBS fan since she was young with all her friends and such. Getting to meet and talk to them should be cool as shit. I did the middle package because as far as I can tell the biggest difference was the skate deck? And I'm not a skater and never have been so figured eh let someone else pay up for that haha
Kinda shitty to play a radio show you could only win tickets to and then have no DC date on this tour. Might have to go up to Philly.
