SRC? I think they're still a thing but I stopped buying from them a few years ago when they sent me an unplayable warped copy of Enema of the State and wouldn't refund/replace my order
I honestly never expect pre-orders to get to me by the time of release. I think it's happened like, two times ever, including just recently with No Joy.
yep haha - i got a warped distorted copy of Juturna from them and they were basically just like "we are sorry have a nice day or dont"
least you got em! i remember reading tons of horror stories of people not even getting their orders so i stopped buying from them, but when i started collecting records 2011-2013, i got some solid pressings from SRC!
I’m a self-titled-hater (easily my least favorite from them), but I honestly might like “El Paso” more than “…Ghost?” Though, I also rarely listen to Louder Now anymore outside of “MakeDamnSure.”
Sometimes I'm not sure whether I genuinely like a song after an insane amount of repeat listens, or if I'm just tricking my brain into liking it because I've just become so used to it.
I've never ordered from brooklynvegan but that sucks! and i got my tbs variant from revolver mag which is the same variant haha first time ordering from them! we shall seee
Enjoyable song, not amazing but far from bad, mostly what I expect from the band at this point which is fine
It’s a good tune and the strength of the one which is my fav tbs song in a long long long time has me excited for the rest
This is the first TBS album since self titled that I am in on the entire rollout. Feels good to be back
Regarding the album length...Apple does not round up on album lengths, even if the album is 31 minutes, 59 seconds. The first two singles total 6 minutes, meaning there could be roughly 26 minutes left for the remaining 8 songs. That's an average of 3:15 per song, which seems perfectly normal. Tidal Wave had 7 songs over four minutes. They clearly wanted to go in a very different direction with this one. "No skippable tracks." If the songs are good, it won't matter.
