listening to this a second time, think they really balance being the most produced they've ever been with writing a bunch of jams that are recognizably tbs songs

 

predicting the record will be hella divisive here though, and that the usual complaints will come up ( "where are the dual vocals???")

 

man they were just the kings of call and response. Wonder why they threw it all out the window.

 

I mean, it's been 17 years since they've consistently done duel vocals, so anyone expecting that is just doing themselves a disservice at this point.
