West Hills is an all timer as far as slow soft openers go

Song is really freakin' good. Very excited for this album.

 

Ticketmaster is the worst. That is all.

 

See some of you in NYC perhaps. Not sure why the waiting room in Ticketmaster went from <1 Min back to 1 Min (oh yeah because the site sucks), but refreshing the page seemingly put me first in line in the queue from that point on. Hopefully that helps someone else in the future, assuming it actually did help me and wasn't just pure luck.

 

yeahhhh. i got screwed by the "waiting room". it never put me in the queue. by the time i entered i was like 250 in line. if you have an extra, let me know!

 

That really blows. Once the waiting room and queues became part of the equation, Ticketmaster became way more of a shit show. That on top of Verified Fan nonsense, dynamic pricing, etc.

As of now my buddy is coming with me, but if he backs out, I'll DM you!

Expensive to order a signed cd from Kerrang in the UK but had to do it

 

Ordered the Revolver white and blue splatter as well

 

Amphetamine Smiles is quickly becoming an overall TBS favorite of mine. Man. Hell of a song.

 

The bass and drums in it are SO good

 

this may end up being my most played TBS album by the end of the year

I think AS works well as an opener, builds nicely into a more punchy song in S’old. I really liked HI, TW and ST has some great songs. This is the most interesting I’ve found an album from them in a minute though.

 

So the closer…can anyone who’s heard it say if it’s a heavy ballad hitter like Slowdance or Call me in the morning? Or basically most of their closers?

 

Not a ballad. Track 5 is the ballad.

 

A standout at least? One thing tbs has nailed for 90% of their discography is some perfect closers

 

Yeah, their closers are almost all completely perfect.

 

Yeah they do have some great closers. I’d love to know if they approach it like “we need to write a closer” or if they just write songs and whatever works for the closer works.

There are no bad songs imo. It’s just a great record.

 

I don’t think I’ve ever seen you be so complimentary of a whole TBS album! Excited to hear the full thing.
