My old co-worker and I used to refer to air-fives as “wi-fi hi-fi” so that’s honestly the first thing that popped into my head
The new say anything is rough. The lyrics are horrible. I have no I idea how he got talents like Fred and Brian and some og say anythingers onboard that one.
I clicked on this thread and was taken to this first comment. Seeing all the greyed out tracks, I think I felt like Jason does every day.
It’s…fine? I dunno. Initially this project seemed to hype up a return to the sound of “classic TBS” but what has made TBS great is that they’re a sum of all their parts. Even if this is a totally separate thing, its hard not to draw the comparisons and see what is missing from the equation. Happy Mark & Eddie are working together though.
This stupid project naming a song “Grown Man” is so funny to me. Gonna imagine the song is as generic and pathetic as the last one.
We're Grown Men and we're here to say We hate wearing suits every single day We now wear shorts and we feel cool Sing along with us, don't be a fool!
if they got a singer that could actually sing, that wasn't the worst thing. change the band name and song titles and marks personality and they could be my new favourite band.
I feel like this really shows how little Eddie had a say in the writing. Like his shit is so generic.
