This isn't my style of music, nor what I want from TBS, but it is in no way "bad", just not my thing.

 

I love these sorts of videos. Also I love this song.

 

Honestly I was expecting way worse, like this better than most songs on the last two records already

When did this band start ripping off Gaslight Anthem?

 

I personally like the song. I mean, some of you act like you're expecting a song for the next James Bond movie. It's Taking Back Sunday, not Tchaikovsky. It's fun.

 

I feel like this song would suit Gerard Way's voice way better

It's too short. It's too long. It doesn't sound like their old stuff. It doesn't sound like Happiness Is. It doesn't sound like Taking Back Sunday. It sounds like The Ramones. It sounds like Gaslight Anthem.

My God. I think I've heard everything between the three Tidal Wave threads.

This band can't catch a break.

 

I always look at it this way. If some other newer band released this song I guarantee there would be tons of people saying what a great simple punk song this is.

Since it is TBS, everyone is up in arms that it doesn't sound like them. Who gives a shit, if the song is fun to listen to it doesn't matter

 

haha. yeahhhh that's how most TBS threads go. if they kept releasing TAYF and WYWTB people would say they never evolved. it's a lose/lose for TBS.

song really grew on me. i'm digging it. i'm assuming most of the album won't sound anything like it though. which is also good.

i like that they are going in different directions.
