Also, I wish they'd grill the quesadillas longer. It's usually super soft and imo, a quesadilla should have some crunch to the outside. I guess I could just ask them to double grill it.
Agreed. I usually ask them to put my sandwich through twice at Schlotzsky's. Would do the same at Quizno's but there's only like one location in town, so I don't go often.
The nearest Quizno's is so far away from me now. I'm very upset about it. I used to go there for lunch once a week.
See, I'm not big on real, true quesadilla's. I'll get them from restaurants time to time, but I don't like a lot of vegetables or thick pieces of chicken in them, which is probably why I like T. Bell's so much. Thin and nothing much to them. I do agree that I prefer them crunchier or more on the burnt side. The things I'd do for Quizno's... Every Quiznos in Northeast Ohio closed.
What bums me out about Quizno's is that it was pretty unanimously loved and considered as the best chain sandwich place, better than subway, jersey mike's, firehouse subs, jimmy johns, etc., but management was so, so bad that they declared bankruptcy and had to close most of their stores. Whenever I'm on a road trip and I see a sign, I make an effort to stop.
Subway is WAY worse than the rest, and Jersey Mikes and Great Outdoors are better than the rest, but everything else is pretty level playing field. I guess Quizno's is cool because they're toasted, but you can get toasted subs at most places now.
For sure. I live near a bunch of family owned mexican places...they make killer...anything mexican lol. But TB fills my void with CGC and chalupas.
Location is everything when it comes to TB. Also I'm addicted to chicken quesadillas as well. Always get them with extra sauce. Sometimes they're great and other times they're almost empty. I miss the doubledilla
In my experience I try new stuff three times at taco bel to offset the possibility of just a chance dud for whatever reason
5 layer is one of my favorite menu items 7 layer is real solid but I think you mentioned not liking TBs guac so you may wanna pass on that one
