My closest Taco Bell is completely gutted for renovation just as volcano comes back. Are you kidding me?

 

my first foray back into The Return was a taco with zero of the sauce on it lmao but the burrito whipped and the sauce tasted pretty close to what my broken brain remembers. can’t wait to eat way too much of this over the next week or however long it takes to run out

 

Volcano menu is cool and all but crispy chicken tacos are back, which is a bigger deal

My go to order is the "Two Chicken Chalupas and a taco" combo.

I usually get a soft taco supreme with potatoes, last night I switched it up and got one with black beans and rice instead. I think that is going to be my new regular order.

 

Cheesy Gordita crunch, add volcano shell and lava sauce to replace spicy ranch, shit was next level… but are the side cups of lava sauce supposed to be cold? Lol

She seemed rude initially (it was a drive thru order not app) so I can’t guarantee it’s always an option or if she offered it because she felt bad about how she acted initially, too lazy to check the app rn to see if it’s doable on there too

The crispy chicken tacos are so good. I got the box with the chalupa and put the volcano sauce on it. It ruled.

 

i am so glad the volcano menu is here for longer than the two weeks i was told it’d be here

 

Found 12 packs of Baja Blast Zero at HyVee and you bet your ass I stocked up on those.

Grubhub having a "spend $15 and get a free Freeze" offer, and i am out here ordering extra stuff I don't need like rice & beans and those Cinnabon balls just to qualify lol

Since I was getting a freeze I didn't want to get something that came with a drink already, I also didn't want to get too much heavy food where it was going to trigger a GERD attack later.

I got two crispy chickens with different sauces, rice & beans, chips with dip and, 2 Cinnabon balls, and then the free Baja Freeze.

 

That seems like not a lot of food for $15?

 

It filled me.up enough. The free Freeze was good
