At Taco Bell this morning and was told that they still have fiesta potatoes but only sell them until 11am. Was able to get the breakfast burritos with them in it. Wonder if I could custom order the removed items.
Strange that of all things to be nixed, potatoes are the ones to go. They're usually the most cost-efficient ingredient in fast food, aren't they?
I think they're doing away with a lot of vegetarian items because they're trying to introduce impossible / beyond meat and want the focus to be on that. Just a theory.
Taco Bell's Making a New Crispy Taco With a White Corn Shell Taco Bell Spotted Testing New Crispy Chicken Wings - Chew Boom
The wings thing kind of pisses me off. Potatoes are too much of a strain on your throughput but you’re testing fucking wings? And just like not even pretending to do Mexican cuisine anymore?
I like it. Even before the pandemic, I can't remember the last time I didn't get TB from the drive thru.
so they're just installing a second drive thru lane that funnels down to the same pick up window? they've been doing this at CFA and McDonald's for years around here
or is one line for ordering at the speaker, and the other is for pre-orders on the app? that would make more sense, but if it still funnels into one lane at the end, kind of defeats the purpose
Saturday is my usual Taco Bell night but I decided to try a local Mexican place instead last night and it went extremely poorly and I guess this is why I never branch out
I am sad to report that last night was first time at TB in about 10 months, but I could only muster getting some Cheese Roll Ups and a Pineapple Freeze because it was a road trip and I have IBS :(
