I don't see how they could possibly think removing potatoes is a good idea after they literally just rededicated themselves to their vegetarian/vegan fanbase by creating an entire "Vegetarin Menu" displayed prominently on their menu boards and in the app. Removing one of their two options for fillings is a pretty huge middle finger.
it's official: Taco Bell Gets Rid of Potato Bites, Beefy Fritos Burritos, and More Starting August 13, 2020 | Brand Eating
it's probably some weird marketing bullshit, or something about food costs during covid or something. I can't imagine with the overwhelming negative reactions from the public that this will last
As someone who can’t tolerate the taste of Taco Bell’s beef, the spicy potato soft taco was my 10:30 pm snack whenever I would walk around campus after a long evening of studying. This is lame.
My 4 favorite things are going to be gone damn. RIP spicy potato, triple layer nachos, cheesy potato griller, and fiesta potatoes :(
Wanted to treat myself after the 24 hour fast I had to do Sunday-Monday and was craving Taco Bell for some reason. the spicy potato taco, grilled steak taco and beefy nacho griller are just too good. finally gotta try the pineapple breezes too, amazing
I eat it left over all the time. When I'm buying taco bell outside of work I'm getting some knowing I can't finish it. It's perfectly fine left over.. in fact, some items I weirdly might prefer room temp/cold.
