Tried the rolled chicken tacos the other day. Wasn't a huge fan. Partly due to the actual item, but mostly due to the long hair I found in one.
I also had TB for dinner last night. Cheesy Bean & Rice Burrito, chicken quesadilla melt (new must-get value menu item for real), spicy potato soft taco, and a CGC.
I went from eating Taco Bell at minimum twice a month (used to eat it multiple times a week back in my glory days) to only eating it three times this entire year. I miss it so much. I started eating Chipotle more (which I used to absolutely despise) just because - for what I order at the two places - it's WAY less unhealthy for me. That said, it's bonkers to me that people prefer Chipotle over Taco Bell. Not even in the same hemisphere.
While I've grown to like Chipotle, I don't even think it's close. I just eat it more now because it's like 700 calories vs. 2,500 calories.
I order the spicy potato soft taco about 90% of the time at this point and always ask for them to make it supreme and they always charge me for it and never make it supreme.
they're entirely different animals. I'd choose chipotle over taco bell too, but sometimes I just want to eat liquid cheese, overcooked beans, and meatslop.
Absolutely. I don't go to Taco Bell to eat healthy or get quality food, but there are times when Taco Bell is the only thing that will cure the itch. That being said, 9 times out of 10, if someone was to offer me Chipotle or Taco Bell, I'd go with Chipotle.
I was always afraid to do this but i just did and I’m never going back. I think this is the best burrito you can get in Taco Bell right now: cheesy bean and rice burrito add beef and pico edit: a burrito under $2.50
I had two shredded chicken soft tacos and added pico (first time trying them) and it was really good.
Two cheesy bean n rice burritos are like 850 cals total and cost $2 and taste better than a 1000 cal $7 chipotle burrito.
A number of reasons but there’s a terrible culture there. The amount of stress and anxiety I had from being a GM there for the amount of money I made and the hours I worked wasn’t worth it. I have an office job and a part time job now and still work less hours and make the same money and am way happier at this point. I had to leave for my own mental health. It’s a shit company honestly.
Glad you were able to get out are seem better off for it. The only reason I ask is cuz I was curious about the corporate culture. I know several people from the Tax Department and it sounds like there has been a pretty drastic change since the HQ moved to California.
I left before the move so I’m not sure how it is now but the people I know that are still GMs are mostly miserable.
I had the rolled chicken tacos and I was pleasantly surprised at how crispy they were. However, in terms of flavor, they tasted like a standard frozen deep fried taquito that you’ll find in your grocery store. I had ordered a spicy potato soft taco supreme and got a beef crunchy taco instead and the taco shell was shattered when I opened the wrapper loll. I also got the 5 layer burrito which I regret and should have ordered something else. We almost ordered chipotle last night and I definitely wish we had. I don’t know why it’s so hard for taco bells to be consistent, but they are awful at it.
Rolled chicken tacos with spicy ranch, dorito loco taco supreme with the remainder of the spicy ranch sauce, beefy frito burrito, and 2 cinnabon delights last night. I immediately became so sleepy that I passed out and got like 8 1/2 hours of sleep. I feel like a million bucks today. Thank YOU Taco Bell
Now that you say that, I had Taco Bell last night and slept all through the night for the first time in 2 weeks
I went on a fast good JOURNEY today because my fiancé is flying to Austin for a wedding and I have work so I can’t go, which made me super sad. I was going to treat myself to the chicken sandwich from Popeyes, but the line was so long and I was so hungry. So I decided to go to McDonald’s for consolation chicken tenders...but their card reader was down and I had no cash. I buckled in and was like, okay, we’re just gonna wait for the same sandwich. Circle back, line was twice as long. Lo and behold next door I see Taco Bell, not a car in the drive thru. I asked myself “what would @K0ta do” and pulled in for rolled chicken tacos. But the best part: I got home and realized they gave me FOUR rolled tacos instead of two. #tooblessed2bedepressed
