That PAC also isn't a Taco Bell corporate PAC, it's made up of individual franchisees, FYI. So next time you go to your local TB ask whether the franchisee is a member of this PAC. If they aren't you're good to go.

Yeah that's the thread that started this whole string of misinformation, at least where Taco Bell is concerned. I haven't looked into any of the other companies on that list but the Taco PAC website literally says it's an organization of franchisees and "supporters". It's not formally affiliated with Taco Bell corporate from what I can tell. It isn't really accurate to say "Taco Bell contributed the maximum allowable amount to Trump", the more accurate statement is "a bunch of individual Taco Bell owners contributed $5,000.00 total to Trump through their PAC".
