so Taboo UK is the same show as what we will be watching?

 

yes, it's a BBC show first that FX has secured rights to air in US... so if you are possibly looking online and seeing it labeled Taboo UK, it's the same show

 

First episode was interesting, bit of a slow burn. Curious enough to return, plus Tom Hardy is always fun to watch.

it's what like 6 episodes? relatively low commitment and we know it isn't coming back, so i'm gonna stick with it unless it gets, like, westworld/true detective levels bad

 

Watching the first episode now, the amount of commercials on the FXNOW app is fucking ridiculous

 

I haven't watched this since the first episode. How is it?

 

I'm really enjoying it. It's slow and ridiculous but Tom Hardy just walking around cutting people and giving crazy eyes is all I need.

 

I love it. The only storyline I'm not interested in is his sister-lust

 

Caught up on this. Enjoying it so far, but I'm glad it's only 8 eps. So uhh, is this duel to the death really going down? ha

 

Solid finale. Dug the show overall. I'm down for Season 2 if they keep it to 8 eps.

 

Really, really surprised they ended it that way when it was only supposed to be a one-off. Also, prior to the episode, the FX voiceover called it the "Season Finale," rather than the "Finale" or the "Series Finale." I'd say the odds of a season 2 are higher than we all thought originally.
