I’ve heard nothing but good things. It has been sold out but got restocked here yesterday morning: Deckers

My copy already shipped and is arriving on Friday!

God, I love GameNerdz by far the best place to buy games that isn’t a FLGS

Bought one more game…Nusfjord. It was between that and Distilled, which perhaps I will still get one day because I do like the theme, but for now I’m done buying games for a long time lol.

I would say so! It’s a very short and simple game and it’s always satisfying to pull the perfect piece in a tile placing game. I haven’t reached for it a ton, but it’s a relaxing way to spend 10 or 15 minutes and I love that you can get started in mere seconds.

While we’re on the subject of tile placing games, has anyone played the board game version of Dorfromantik? It’s one of my favorite video games and I’d love to give the physical version a try some day…although obviously not anytime soon since I’m no longer buying games…

Deckers just arrived! I’ll be away tomorrow and most of Sunday, and I want to play A Demon in the Shadows tonight, so I probably won’t get to play Deckers until next weekend, but I’m atessy going to try to familiarize myself with the rule book and maybe watch a playthrough.

edit: Reading through the rule book now, and I can already tell this is going to be really fun. The explosion effect sounds like it’s going to lead to some epic disasters

  11. Been playing Spooktacular quite a bit since I got it a few weeks ago. I think I've played like 5 or 6 games and played as a different monster each time. It's so replayable since there's 20 (TWENTY!) monsters to pick from. So fun.

I played Tend tonight, really good game. Easier than it looks.

    hell yeah

@Colby Searcy It's more of a puzzle than a game but it's very relaxing. When I first got it I would play 2-3 games every night in the space of 20ish minutes. It's very nice to unwind with.

I also have Tend, think it's one that'll hit the table soon.. the scratch-off mechanic is especially appealing.

You bet I did. Pledged for the catch up box, The Green Terror, The Green Terror figurines, and the mystery box. Did you go for anything?

Just did! You convinced me to get Berith so I went with that plus I added on the Mausoleum Box and North Pole Nightmare.

Hell yeah, i hope you enjoy! Berith is tough, but rewarding. I’m still trying to figure out the best strategy but I’ve been having a lot of fun. Only complaint is that an unlucky shuffle of her terror cards will devastate you fast (or at least really shake your confidence).

I watched the official VRG playthrough of it last night, too. Could just be that I’m getting more into games, but this is the first one I’ve watched full playthroughs of, which I feel must say something about it! Again, I just really appreciate the uniqueness of Berith while being very simple to learn.

Now I’m questioning if I should get the Raptor one instead of Berith and just buy that one now since it’s available…

Cool to see Lords of Waterdeep get a reprint, that was the game that got me into board gaming.

Hahaha, yesss. I hope you like Berith! She’s pretty brutal and I still haven’t won (my dice rolling luck has been abysmal lately), but based on the playthroughs I’ve watched, the trick is to not panic because she’s the kind of killer you can take down even when it feels hopeless. I really like her and find it a pretty immersive FF.

I’ve been really happy with all of S4 so far.

anyone have digital versions of games? I've got Root, Everdell, and Wingspan on my Switch. I've got like $10 in Google Play credits and wondering if I should pick up an app version of a game
