I played The Big Bad Wolf feature film for the first time the other day. I know people don’t seem to love that one, but I wanted a simpler one for a change of pace and the theme is good. It was fun, but I got unexpectedly annihilated even though I felt like for once my rolls were mostly decent, so I’m looking forward to giving it another go.

 

I really like it! Love the map and not ultra complicated rules. Think I’ve won every time I play against the wolf

Frightmare and Into the Void

 

Frightmare is SO GOOD. Haven’t played Into the Void but I own it (because I own all of them except for like three from season one)

 

I played The Bloody Inn a couple nights ago and it was a lot of fun

 

I’ve looked into this was very interested. What is the gameplay like?

 

FRIGHTMARE has one of the coolest mechanics I’ve ever seen but I hate playing against him cuz he always kicks my ass.

 

I’ve only played it four or five times but I truly don’t think he’s that bad! I do have weirdly good luck when it comes to avoiding boiler room attacks though.

 

I played The Storybook Woods feature film again last night and got demolished. I wonder if I’m just having bad luck - everyone says The Big Bad Wolf is an easy killer! But last night he went into slay mode just two turns in and he was impervious to reaction attacks. It was all downhill from there and the game lasted like 15 minutes.

 

I played a game last night where I think I didn’t roll one success and got killed so damn fast.

 

I might start playing with the tear dice to see what that’s like. Bought them ages ago but never tried them.

 

The tear dice are fun! I think I’ll keep using them, actually - they aren’t OP at all, which was my concern, just provide a minor assist. That said, the wolf destroyed me yet again. Truly don’t get how people say he’s the easiest killer! There’s a card that makes every victim move one space closer to him, and that’s the card that keeps leading to my imminent downfall.

 

Think we might be playing Hansa Teutonica this weekend... for some reason the rulebook always gives me fits, but I grabbed some player aides off BGG and I think that will help me and my friends grock it.

 

I’ve wanted to try this for a long time. Still haven’t tried it.
