I’m really enjoyed the Panic at Station 2891 film recently, the mechanics were a lot of fun in that. I need to experiment more with mixing and matching between them all I think! What about yourself?
Yeah. I’ve painted pretty much all of those. (I started curating a bit more because of space, so I don’t have all of the XMen stuff), but I have a pretty huge collection that’s consolidated into 4 boxes.
@wisdomfordebris don't forget to pay your tariff fee for Final Girl! Didn’t realize it was so close to releasing.
Thanks for the reminder! I actually paid it as soon as I got the email, but I appreciate it. I also had no idea it was shipping in August! For some reason I thought it was coming closer to September/October, so this is a pleasant surprise.
Yes me too! I didn’t realize GenCon was next week so getting it much sooner than anticipated was an indeed a pleasant surprise! I’ve been in a bit of a lull playing lately so hoping to get back into it once I get the new stuff
I wish I was going! I have a buddy muling some games back for me. Allplay has a ton of cool games out this year. My buddy designed Soda Jerk, which is super cool. Twinkle Twinkle is one of my favorites to come out this year. They have like 10 new games out at GenCon.
Played Innovation back to back recently on BGA and went straight to buying the ultimate edition. good game (yes SU&SD got me again)
Looks like mine is coming tomorrow as well! I haven’t played in a month or two. I’ll probably hang onto Shriek for a little because I think I want The Intruders to be the next one I play. Anyway, super exciting!
I was expecting closer to mid-September or so so I’m pumped! I haven’t played in a long while either. Guess it’s time to break it out again soon!
played a game of Dominion last night with the Prosperity expansion. It's nice to return to the classic deck builder. It goes so quick and is so uncomplicated. Also played Dice Forge for the first time. That one was really cool and really fast at 2 players.
I borrowed Vantage from a friend over the weekend and played a game of it. It's getting a ton of praise. I just didn't enjoy it. It has you switching between like 7 story books depending on the actions you take. It feels a bit aimless. I'm not always super into the stories in games, and Vantage is all about the story. The scenario I ended up in, was fine, but I didn't even really enjoy the story much. Glad I can save the $90 by playing it before buying it.
my friend convinced me to join them at a card shop for some Commander in a couple of days, we'll see how it goes. not used to playing ppl i don't know. i've been working on a monowhite angel deck and a white-black vampire deck next set of Lorcana has only 33 new cards and the rest are reprints; the first four sets are being rotated out of the new format. i've been collecting all the Princesses (and Anna and Elsa) but i think i'll sit this one out i did get both of the co-op boss fight modes so far, and i've made four themed decks: princesses, Frozen, Big Hero 6, and Encanto. the Jafar boss was more difficult than Ursula but that might've just been a bad match-up
Love Dominion, unfortunately two of the regulars I play the most with don't, so I don't get to play it as often as I'd like.
