I’ve been LOVING Gepetto. He’s not easy, but I think it’s the most immersive FF yet. At the very least, it has the funnest event cards.

Also, Buddyland preorder is live! I just ordered. It’s currently limited to 2000 units. Right now the link has only been shared in the Discord but it’ll be posted publicly in an hour.

 

Yes! I was most interested in Destiny Vignette due to Final Destination. I don’t know if I’m interested in the birds or zombies but I’ll likely get them eventually…

Destiny feels very easy weirdly enough which seems to be a somewhat general consensus but also dependent on order of terror cards you are given so maybe I was just lucky on the 2 maps I played it on.

Ugh, I hate Geppetto and his damn murder puppets. Out of the ones I own he’s the one I struggle with the most I think. I do like the Carnival of Blood though!

yep just saw it and I’ve been anxiously awaiting for it all day! Super excited for it!!

i gotta stop buying now or my wife may kill me…

 

I’ll have to try Destiny soon. I love Final Destination, haha.

I almost beat Gepetto the other day despite his murder puppets but then I pulled his epic finale which instantly killed me. It was a big bummer, lol.

I will say that I don’t think I’m a big fan of poltergeist. I like the theme and location but I’ve been finding that one mostly irritating (although I did have a pretty badass win by escaping in a helicopter at the last minute)

 

Polty is one I actually don’t have and am a little scared of due to not being able to be killed but the location has always seemed interesting.

I don’t go on the Discord too much cuz it’s overwhelming and hard for me to navigate but I appreciate how responsive AJ seems to be on there.

 

The location is fun and once I start mixing and matching I’m sure I’m gonna love it, but the luck aspect of Polty is admittedly a little frustrating. It’s still fun, but it’s the first one of these I’ve played where some of the losses are just kind of annoying.

I only pay attention to the general-FG-talk channel in the discord. I think it’s great but yeah it can move fast so I obviously don’t pay attention to everything that’s posted in it. But yeah, my opinion of AJ and the FG peeps is super high, which is cool

 

I got Really Loud Librarians from my brother a couple days ago. I'm excited to get that one to the table, as they say.

 

It’s a fun one. My kids really enjoyed it with us.

First casualty that I know of when it comes to the tariffs. Greater Than Games officially shuttered today. Makers of Spirit Island and Sentinels of the Multiverse

Definitely the one I most looked forward to from S3.

Rules really aren’t as complicated as I was expecting and the killer mechanic is cool and keeps you very busy! Thought for sure I was going to lose but I pulled it out there at the end with Cassie’s amazing Ultimate Ability.

So, they released a statement. They’re laying off most of their staff and putting a hold on upcoming games. But they are still technically open and will continue stocking their current games.

The first casualty was Final Frontier Games, and they won’t be delivering their Merchants Cove KS or other upcoming KS, unfortunately.

AEG also put a hold on their Mystic Vale KS delivery just for the USA. The rest of the world will get theirs.

His business model is wild. He also doesn’t do any conventions. He has a partner company sell their stuff so he doesn’t have to travel the convention circuit and just manage things at home. Wild for a 8 person company that has a catalog as lauded as theirs.

 

@Colby Searcy More Final Girl preorders go live in just over ten minutes. Not sure what exactly is going up though.

 

Yep!! Just bought the catch up set! I know I said I wouldn’t buy minis but that price was too good to pass up.

I haven’t gotten my Buddyland yet, no. Lucky! Have you played it? Even if I haven’t beaten Gepetto by the time it arrives, I might skip straight to Buddyland, haha. I’m excited for that one.

Not yet. I’ve been out of town this week and just got back yesterday. I still need to play through Hell To Pay as well before Buddyland. I try to discipline myself and only play one at a time so I can get used to those rules and whatnot

 

jumping off from that, i also found out Fog of Love has same-sex couple versions of the cover, and the contents were updated to make it gender neutral
