I’ve been playing a lot of Heat. It’s so good.

 

For Northwood! is a lot of fun so far. I’ve only played two games, and lost both, but I’m already really happy I bought it.

 

dang maybe I'll go get it

 

We ended up going with Clank and Scoville for Game Night last week, enjoyed both, but with my group, they both ran way too long lol.

Scoville in particular was very frustrating because we kept running out of chili peppers past the halfway point.

It took us 5 and a half hours to get through both games excluding the movie/dinner break we took.

I haven't played any solo games yet but Final Girl intrigued me

 

Will do, I do a game night every other Sunday and we are doing Heat: Pedal to the Metal (This time for realsies) this Sunday but I definitely wanna push Apiary out on the 17th

 

I have the first two series of Final Girl and have yet to get it to the table because I’m a bum lol

This game rules! I played terribly and lost but had a ton of fun. Can't wait to try again tomorrow.

Not exactly "gems" but have you played Space Base? Seems like you'd dig that one haha

 

I don't play any solo board games (maybe I shoud?) but god damn I love doing puzzles by myself

 

Love Space Base. I have the one expansion that I believe turns it into a campaign, if I remember correctly, but haven’t gotten to play that version yet.

 

Space Base is my favorite game of all time. I absolutely love it.

 

The campaign isn’t great. But the modules it adds are fun, if that makes sense.

 

I tried to play some Gloomhaven: Jaws of the Lion solo this weekend, but the upkeep is just too much and I lost interest. It can collect dust again on my shelf!

 

Tried Lost Ruins of Arnak on BGA, super impressed by how big the decision space is and how impactful every move feels, can imagine this would be a nightmare if you have more analysis paralysis sensitive players but dang, I really wanna give the physical copy a shot now

 

I know I got a game but not sure which one, will report back tomorrow.

Got my brother-in-law Love Letters

 

I picked up Love Letter at my local gamestore/bar (as well as the 6 player expansion for Clank) just to support them, haven't played it a long time but remember it being a great filler game like Coup
