wondering if they've even begun production on physical copies if they're still making changes/adding songs
Probably not. Or it's going to be a Beyonce/Nicki Minaj situation where the physical has less tracks and old mixes EDIT: Actually that's an interesting question regarding sales numbers. Don't they have to ship to count for first week sales?
the vinyl on her site says it's on preorder for a spring 2025 release, and they finished the initial mixes hours before it dropped on streaming, so i'm assuming the release will be staggered between physical and digital (i think the same happened for SOS, not sure about Ctrl)
Ahh ha, well there ya go then! Better for the customer that way. I assume the whole original album is included too, that's gotta be a big set
Idk anything about this guy at all but you've got to imagine his life just got a whole lot less stressful
I guess some changes were made yesterday? One song has a new verse? I'm sure there's somewhere online that lists the changes
It’s insanely annoying when artists make a bunch of changes to their releases after they’ve already been released.
Finally got around to listening to this today. It's all nice, she's obviously a great artist and can pump out good music anytime... that being said, I do feel like it feels like a collection of loosies rather than an album (which, it isn't I guess). They do feel SOS era musically, so I get being attached to SOS in that sense. The whole thing is still super bizarre, and it's always nice to have new music, but it's definitely not anywhere near the excitement of SOS standard or CTRL, quality-wise or impact-wise
She should have released it as a side b album like Carly Rae Jepsen does, but obviously it’s a numbers thing
