this makes me sound like a liar haha, no I just mean I love how weird she is and in this day and age it's nice that she's never boring and always keeps me on my toes

never bet against Punch delaying a SZA release (even if it's also her fault)

if you zoom in, it looks only marginally better. some blades of grass are just floating.

so many questions. why not use another photo of her dressed as a bug in tall grass that doesn't need photoshopping? or did they only take one photo? and what are they covering up? why couldn't she just move a few feet?

my original guess was that she wasn't centered in the original photo and they expanded the left side out a bit to compensate for this. the problem is that they did a shit job doing so. not sure if this is the case though.

this is really good so far, but i really don't know if it was necessary to tack this onto SOS when it could've been it's own separate release.

I'm curious if the motive was boosting SOS overall sales/send it back to #1, or if it was more about tempering expectations since people seem to expect every new album to be a complete reinvention these days. Could be that she's trying to get ahead of people saying this sounds too much like SOS. Probably a bit of both

it definitely makes sense from a strategic standpoint, but musically it also feels like it's own thing sonically. like somewhat of an extension of SOS, but not entirely in the same vein.

gonna listen shortly! cool that she made a tight little album (sorta), can't imagine listening to almost anyone's 38 songs in sequence though lol
