Literally she had all this momentum going when Good Days dropped and then…nothing. What she was thinking releasing nothing until now baffles me…

 

It’s been well documented that her label is holding up much of the material

 

The head of TDE tweeted a few weeks ago implying that it’s not the label holding up any releases. He deleted the tweets though…

 

I feel like it's probably on both ends, SZA has definitely shown in the past that she is a perfectionist with her music and releases, plus multiple times she has said she is ending her music career. Obviously we'll never really know what the issues are, but I wouldn't be surprised if there are things on both sides causing the delays

 

That perfectionist bit is real. Even Good Days was released twice haha

 

Who knows how long it would've been before we hear new music if it weren't for I Hate U going viral on TikTok
