Nice I didn't know about this. Probably because it was just announced eh. Stoked to hear the first single.

Haven’t really liked anything from them since Vice Verses, but I still really love the run of albums from The Beautiful Letdown up until then. Hoping they get it back with this one.

Haven’t loved anything since Hello Hurricane. Always down for new Switchfoot and hopeful though.

Also. They did not go on a hiatus, as far as I’m concerned. Lol

Intrigued to see what they put out.
Ha, so true. Less than a year without touring but they’ve clearly written and recorded a whole album in that time, ha! No one would have noticed if they hadn’t said “hiatus” after their UK shows.

Its not my favorite Switchfoot single. I got a little more into it as it went along, so maybe it’ll be a grower. Sonically, it seems indicative of a record I could be into.

This is pretty good. I can get behind this.

Actually quite impressed - enjoyed the lyrics. Haven’t bought a Switchfoot album for over a decade (I’m more of a Jon Foreman solo fan but always check out the Switchfoot singles in the event that they draw me back in).

Neat. I always forget that they're a band. Never been one of my favorites, but they're always solid. I think Beautiful Letdown and Hello Hurricane are the only albums I'm fully into, but Vice Verses and Fading West had some good tracks. "Where I Belong" might be my favorite song of theirs. All I remember about their last album is that it had a song w/ Lecrae, unfortunately.

New song sounds like another Switchfoot song.

Song is... fine. Like others have said I haven’t really liked an album since Hello Hurricane but I’ll always give their new stuff a listen

This is good. Kind of what I expected, which isn't ideal, but it's already growing on me.

I need to listen to Where the Light Shines Through more. There's definitely a song or two I don't see growing on me (especially "Looking for America") but I feel like I've underrated it. I need to do a nice discog run.

Man, it'd be nice to hear them crank another album out that's as terrific as The Beautiful Letdown or Nothing is Sound.

Nothing is Sound is far and away my favorite Switchfoot album.

I dont get how so many dont like Vice Verses. Feels like some of Switchfoot's better songs. There are some not so good songs mixed in....but I love a lot of those tracks

It does have a few great songs... mixed in with some very not good stuff. It's a super inconsistent album IMO

Nothing Is Sound was actually the last Switchfoot album I bought...!

    Love Vice Verses.

Vice Verses is very solid, and I love how it flows as an album, but oddly enough I’m actually not too fond of some of the rockier moments on it like “Afterlife,” “The Original,” and “Dark Horses”.

Honestly I'm really not huge on Nothing is sound but i really need to revisit it tho.
